Beautiful St Louis

Hello Ladies--It seems the weather is holding for us and May is just around the corner. On a note of the upcoming year, I know some of you will be doing the charity rides and getting ready for the upcoming MS 150. One of the crew reminded me of the Ozark 100, in Ozark, MO. on June 22nd. This is a great ride for a great cause. If you are looking to get out of St. Louis and travel southwest into the beautiful lake country, mark it on your calendar. This is great training and exercise for everyone. The mileage is 25, 62 or 100 miles, pick your poison.
May is next week ladies, lets get ready to go ride. If you get a chance this weekend, come check out some of the more competitive people in our community and support them at Carondelet park on Saturday and Forest Park on Sunday.
Details can be found at STLBiking.com

Ride! Ride! Ride!

Hey Gals,
Here we go, May (being our official start month) is almost here and we are gearing up for some good riding. May is National Bike Month, and we all should enjoy a little extra time on the bike to support the effort.
As far as April goes, we are riding at irregular times, but we will post the times, type, and ability level as soon as the ride is known, so keep checking. If you need to call in regards to time and/or you might be running late, here is the # 314.581.8818

MTB Festival: Sunday!

Whew! 40 miles...sunshine and smiles (oh and my aching quads). Just wanted to say kudos to Nancy, Jennifer, Lorine (sp?), Brittany, Amanda, Leigh (sp?), Alane and Becky. Who were the chics stokin' for the guys on tandems? Rock on, ladies. Pass this sickness on to all your friends and soon we'll have guys pulling over for us.

I don't know if anybody got a chance to talk to the Trek girls. I wanted to give them a hard time for not joining us on the epic ride, so if you get a chance, drop those girls a line and let them know we missed them on our ride.

Or, if you have specific thoughts or suggestions you'd like to share with me about your experience or the shaping of the team, don't hesistate to email me.

Now...back to the hot tub.

Rev on.

MTB Festival: Day 2

Awesome!!!! Rode, rode some more, single, geared, lots of riding. It was a blast. Lots of people, met a great group of girls. Alll really committed to pedaling two wheels. Great job, girlz!! Kuddos to the girls from Trek, and the time they are giving to helping women in the midwest enjoy MTBing. Played a mean game of " No Touch" , those guys are ruthless, sometimes. Look forward to tomorrow and a few more trails, and some new faces. I would forsee the faces today becoming part of the team and joining the Revolution team. The Revolution gang with be holding a MTB ride at least once a week to help encourage, and help women enjoy there time on the trails, so keep glued to the blog to see what the April showers have done for the May fun.

See ya there, gals!!!!
