West Si-eed Rides

OK, so I'm finally posting the pics from my LAST visit. This is from a random walk to work (as you can see it was rainy and there were STILL 7 commuters in 3 blocks around my office!). So, I'm in San Fran again. Nice weather, if you don't mind clouds/fog.

So, speaking of rides, there are no comments about the November 11 ride. Anyone up for it? Waiting for the ride/route info? Alright! We'll get on it. In the meantime, check out what we're doing on the site in terms of route maps!

Have constructive criticism of the new site? Anything missing you wish was there? Email me or Carrie a line anytime!

Talk soon. Ride on.

X Racing!

So yesterday several women braved the figid wind to ride in the 2nd (?) Cross Race of the season. Pam shot out in front and never looked back, easily (well, easily is a relative term) taking first place. It was fun to watch and I was a bit glad to be a spectator. I still need to learn how to dismount and handle the barriers. There's more photos at Action Images.

Fun, but cold.

So, fall has definitely fallen and it's about time to start gearing up for how we're going to do our winter stuff. We're looking to do a good road ride on November 11 (weather permitting). Anyone up for an afternoon ride? We're taking suggestions on loations and distances.

Let us know what you think!

Where have we been!!!!!?????

Okay so it seems as if we have been gone forever!!! We have! We went to Interbike, the bicycle trade show in Las Vegas. Trying to take one for the team and meet a few people in the process to further our cause. Look at the lady in the picture, she is dreading one of two things, the huge climb ahead, or the fact that fall and winter are coming. No worries we say!!! Stay on your bike, dress appropriately, and keep riding, it doesn't have to be painful ladies!! Give us your feedback on what you want for the fall and winter. Indoor trainer classes?, Tips on cool weather riding and gear?
Gotta Run, my bike is leaving w/o me!!!

Greetings from the West Coast

I don't know if you can see this beautiful sunset behind me, but it's an amazing view that my coworkers may often take for granted. It's on the 29th floor looking into San Francisco's bay, I can see this from my desk!

So, on my short journey to this office from my hotel, I always see tons of bikes. Everywhere and every kind. Tomorrow I'm going to try and take portraits of the bikes that I see on my mile walk to work; it amazes me every day how many there are.

Anyway, not much else from me today.
Go ride!
