MTB in Tahoe

*Disclaimer: This picture is not of anyone we know. Hopefullly we'll return with many pictures of our own.

**Note: We've moved the Thursday MTB ride to Tahoe. Details like specific time and place are sketchy, but we'll try and keep you posted. If you can't make that ride we hope you find some singletrack or road here to hit.

Carrie and Chris are off to Tahoe and will not be returning to Missouri until next week (Monday, June 26). There will still be a Wednesday night road ride, so don't skip. Have a great week and we challenge you to have some riding stories to top ours!

Later!

State Road Race

Hot, Hot, and even hotter. That is all I can say about that. 66 miles of pedals, sweat, and tears for me, 44 for Chris, Ekatarina, Shioban, Rhiannon, Jenn, Kari Casey, Sara Nelson and Becky Huinker. Man oh Man, was it hot. We all finished, some better than others, however, all realized, I do believe, that hydration is definately very important.

riding for the fun of it!!!

We had a great time on Monday night at the 370/Elm ride. It was an east paced ride of about 18 avg. and we worked on echelons that decreased our work effort by 50% each. Alane Carder and Becky Cato (of Velo Force), and their friend Matt rode along with us. Good Stuff.
On Wednesday we had about 7 people for our Bread Co. ride in Webster Groves.
Last night, Thursday, we rode at SIUE. Liz came out and borrowed a bike to give MTB a whirl for the first time. She did fantastic!!! We were joined by Lisa Brown and GiGi Kuerschgen. Kuddos to all of them for having so much fun. We road up and down, across little logs, for about an hour and fourty five minutes. Great fun and lots of laughs. If anyone wants to come out and does not have a mountain bike, or road bike, let us know and we will try to round one up for you.
